At Setareh Hedgehogs, our passion for these enchanting little companions runs deep. With over 20 years of experience caring for hedgehogs, we’re dedicated to providing trusted guidance, heartfelt stories, and educational resources to support hedgehog lovers everywhere.

Our journey began two decades ago and has been filled with prickly paws, sweet snuggles, and invaluable lessons. Today, our home is brightened by Peanut and Aurora, two joyful new additions who bring life, curiosity, and so much personality to Setareh Hedgehogs. They are a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

With full hearts, we also honor those who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
🌈 Amore, our sweet 4-year-old, passed in November 2024 and left behind a legacy of love.
🌈 Waffles, who passed in August 2024, continues to inspire our commitment to these special creatures.
Both remain forever in our hearts.

Here at Setareh Hedgehogs, we believe that education is key to giving hedgehogs the happiest, healthiest lives possible. Whether you’re just beginning your hedgehog journey or are a seasoned enthusiast, we’re here to help your prickly friend thrive.

We’re based in Bountiful, Utah, where I live with my husband of 19 years and our daughter, Charlotte, who makes sure Peanut, Suki, and our other hedgies get plenty of snuggles and social time. I work full-time as a Veterinary Client Care Coordinator at a Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Clinic with an Exotic Specialist, and I’m also a passionate Wellness and Pet Advocate. I love helping others discover holistic approaches to caring for both themselves and their animal companions.
